IT’S raining men – hallelujah.
That might well be the chorus ringing out in Killarney this Saturday following an appeal issued by Killarney Musical Society for more men to come forward to audition.
Male only trials will be held this Saturday at the Holy Cross Mercy National School at 12.30pm to fill roles still available for the production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat which will be stages at the INEC next February.
Several roles have already been filled following auditions and rehearsals will commence very shortly but more men are needed and everybody is welcome to audition tomorrow.
One of the most popular and lively musicals of all, the Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice classic promises to be a great show and the production team, spearheaded by director Peter Kennedy and musical director Noel Lennon, is really looking forward to working with the great local talent.
This will be Killarney Musical Society’s 35th production and it will be staged at the INEC on February 25-27 with a special matinee on the opening day.
