Killarney Swimming Club member Evan O’Donoghue has been selected for the Swim Ireland Munster Skills Academy Programme 2024-2025.
Talented Evan was one of eight males born in 2012 to be selected for the provincial squad based on his performances during last season’s swim meets.
Training began last weekend at U, where the swimmers got to meet Olympic swimmer Shane Ryan.
They completed a two-hour pool session followed by sports psychology and strength and conditioning work.
Evan will continue to train with his squad in UL and they will compete in inter-provincial meets in April 2025.
