The going got tough and the tough got going in the gruelling Dingle Adventure Race whxih attracted a huge number of gritty participants at the weekend
The physically demanding one-day multi activity adventure race is one of the hardest challenges there is and the adverse weather conditions made the event even more challenging.
Disciplines included biking around Slea Head, summiting Mount Brandon – Ireland’s second highest mountain range – and kayaking in Dingle Harbour but the vast majority of participants were up for the challenge and there displayed sheer steel and determination in the process.
