The Rossies head to Killarney for key group game

Kerry’s first All-Ireland senior championship in the group stages, against Roscommon, has been scheduled for Fitzgerald Stadium, Killarney on Saturday, May 17 with a 2.30pm throw-in.

The Group 2 game is expected to attract a much bigger crowd than Sunday’s Munster Final clash with Clare which was played in glorious sunshine before an official attendance of just over 13,100.

The glamour Galway v Dublin clash in Group 4 will be played ay Pearse Stadium in Salthill on the same day  with a 5.00pm throw-in.

Peter Keane’s Clare, meanwhile, will play Down in Ennis on the Sunday.

The Ulster Final between Armagh and Donegal will be played this Saturday at St Tiernach’s Park in Clones, commencing at 5.25pm and the Leinster Final will be in Croke Park on Sunday with the novel pairing of Louth and Meath and that game will get underway at 4.15pm.
