Legacy Elite club members returned home to Killarney from one of the biggest cheerleading competitions in Europe with a number of successes to their credit.
They competed in the Jamfest Europe event in the UK and they registered a first place finish as well as fourth and fifth place credits.
“We were honoured to compete against some of the best teams in the UK in a tough competition,” said coach Hayley Murphy.
“We were over the moon with our achievements. Four of our athletes have also made the national cheerleading team to represent Ireland at the Cheerleading World Championships next April and we are very excited for them,” she added.
Legacy Elite also took part in the spectacular Celebration of Irish American Friendship parade Killarney on July 4th to celebrate with American friends.
