LUCKY Tom long will be driving home in style for Christmas after winning a slick new Ford Fiesta in a bumper draw.

Originally from Inch and now living in Roscommon, Tom was overjoyed when he received a call from FAI headquarters informing him that he was the overall winner in the National Club Draw.

The lucky ticket was purchased at Killarney Outlet Centre where members of Killarney Celtic FC and Killarney Celtic Football for All had been selling tickets to raise funds for the club.

Tom bought a total of five tickets and won the car in the Munster section of the draw. A ticket he had purchased for his sister was also a winner and her prize is two tickets to an Ireland game at Lansdowne Road.

“I can’t believe my luck. I was on a visit to Killarney saw the car draw and thought I’d chance my luck,” said Tom.

“I’m over the moon with my win and I am grateful to Killarney Celtic FC and the FAI,” he added.
The FAI National Club Draw assists grassroots clubs with their fundraising efforts and the prizes are provided by the FAI through the generosity of sponsors with clubs retaining a substantial percentage of the money raised to invest in developing their programmes.
