GARDAI in Killarney are appealing to property owners in the general Muckross Road area to check their properties which may be vacant or unoccupied.
Gardai are investigating a number of incidents in the past week where unoccupied properties were broken into and used by individuals.
It resulted in criminal damage being caused to these properties.
A definite line of enquiry is being followed and one person is in custody in relation to the matter.
