Killarney Triathlon Club will hold an open night for potential members this Thursday night at the Anam Arts and Cultural Centre on East Avenue Road (7.00pm).
It would be of particular interest to those interested in outdoor activities who want to meet new people and to train in a fun environment.
The club is open to people of all levels who enjoy a swim, a cycle and a run and experienced members will be on hand to share all the relevant information with interested parties.
They will explain all about triathlons and the gear and equipment required and they will give insights into triathlon training and the calendar of events.
Club membership would be of particular interest to those who have recently ceased competing in an individual or team sport, those who have completed a 5k or adventure race, anybody interested in training as part of a relay team or those that wish to volunteer as a non-training members who would like to be part of a vibrant club.
