WHATEVER the merits of a brisk walk on the beach, a slow stroll through the park or a daily workout with the dog, learning to walk with your senses certainly seems like an inviting offer.

Killarney Rotary Club has teamed up with lecturer, author and spiritual retreat facilitator, Anne Alcock, to host mindful walking sessions and there could be no better venue than the splendid Killarney House and Gardens.

The invitation will extend from Monday, June 24 to Friday, June 28 from 9.30am-10.30am and Anne will help participants to learn a slow mindful walking technique.

Advance bookings are essential and the fee is €5 per walk with all proceeds going to fund the invaluable work of the Killarney Mountain Meitheal. The meeting point is the Garden Room in Killarney House and the walks are for adults only. To book call 085-8017979.
