Women in Business share benefits of supports

An event that profiled Kerry businesses, all founded by females, that have benefited and grown from the range of supports provided by the Kerry Local Enterprise Office has been held at the RDI Hub in Killorglin.

The gathering was hosted by the President of Network Ireland Kerry, Linda O’Mahony Logan and the MC was Mary Gallagher of Radio Kerry.

The keynote speaker was Sinead Lonergan who has over 25 years’ experience working directly with companies to plan and implement their scaling and export growth strategies.

She has worked as a technology transfer advisor, a scaling company development advisor and an export promotion advisor, in the US and France, for Enterprise Ireland.

Sinead has first-hand experience of advising companies, in a range of diverse sectors, on their market entry plans and successfully securing buyer introductions and export sales contracts in international markets.

She is currently managing the Women in Business initiatives with Enterprise Ireland following a number of years as an independent consultant advising companies on their exporting strategies.

Other panel members were Jo Arbon, Holistic Hound, Anna and Orla Snook O’Carroll, Valentia Island Vermouth, Dina Vyapuri, Techfindr and Purpl Unicorn and Pamela Neumann, Tango Street Food.
