World music stars on their way to town

Several Grammy Award winners are currently on-route to Killarney to perform at the Ireland’s Folk Conference launch concert in the Gleneagle INEC Arena next Tuesday.

The organisers have today confirmed a partnership with the International Bluegrass Music Association and the pairing reflects the celebration of bluegrass, folk, Americana and roots music which Your Roots Are Showing conference founders, Charlene Sloan and Brendan McCreanor, had in mind when they first imagined the event.
