Five members of Killarney Swimming Club represented Kerry at the Community Games National Finals in Castlebar with fantastic results.
They made quite a splash with some brilliant performances and returned home with pride after a series of super displays.

Shane Tomlinson, Spa-Muckross, was seventh in the under 14 freestyle, Katie O’Riordan, Milltown/Listry, was ninth in the under 16 freestyle and Aoife Daly, Beaufort impressed in the under 16 breaststroke.
Killarney Swimming Club athletes also attended the John Dempsey memorial gala at the UL Sport Arena in Limerick with excellent results and many new personal bests.
Raegan Browne was second in the 100m fly, Ayla Keogh was second in the 50m free and Noah Keogh was second in the 100m back.
Orlaith Macke, meantime, was second in both the 100m back and the 50m back while Lara O’Brien Leahy was second in the 50m breaststroke and the 50m fly but went one better in the 50m free which she won.
Samuel O’Neill was second in the 50m free while Dara Sheehan was third in the 100m breast and in the 50m free.
