A NEW manager with a wealth of international experience has been appointed at the Angsana Spa at The Brehon in Killarney.
Fiona Collins joins the team having previously worked in London and Dubai.
She started working in the health and fitness industry while completing a Sport Science Degree at Surrey University. She worked the hub of corporate health and fitness Industry in Blackfriars, London before diversifying into the spa and hospitality industry.
She then spent 15 years working in many of the world’s leading spas, including the Jumeirah Hotels and Resorts Group in Dubai.
Since returning from Dubai, Fiona has worked as a consultant on a number projects, including brand development on behalf of KIS Lifestyle UK.
“The spa industry in Ireland and the UK has undergone phenomenal growth in the last 10 years. More and more people understand and appreciate the holistic benefits of a good spa treatment,” Fiona said.
All the Angsana therapists have trained at The Banyan Tree Academy in Thailand and its graduates are highly regarded throughout the world.
