Killarney Swimming Club members Ella Cremin and Cathal Mackay competed in the Irish Youth and Senior Championships at the National Aquatic Centre in Dublin.
Ella placed sixth overall in the 400 IM and seventh in the 200 Fly.
She also came away with 11 fantastic personal bests.
Cathal finished seventh in the 200 Back and had seven personal bests from the competition.
Swimming at such a fiercely competitive national level was no easy feat for these swimmers and they trained daily in Tralee with Kingdom Swimming Club and their head coach Erin Mc Nulty.
After a short break they will be back in the water this week at Killarney Sports and Leisure Centre along with the rest of the club who are excited to get back to training.
